Ryan Cox

Ryan Cox is a veteran real estate professional with over 10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions and entitlement, residential multifamily management, and budgeting. His diverse background is vital to performing proper due diligence on distressed properties. At Strategic Holdings, Mr. Cox’s duties include the underwriting of potential acquisitions, reviewing operational income and expense reports, and advising the credit committee regarding appropriate acquisition targets.  Post-acquisition, he also assists in the disposition of assets.

Prior to joining Strategic Holdings, Mr. Cox started as a superintendent managing vertical construction for Pulte Homes on a 30-unit multifamily project.  When that project was complete, Ryan moved into the land development where he managed multiple properties from groundbreaking until completion (Pulte & KB Homes).  At Discovery Builders, Ryan managed the entitlement process from the initial application through land development of eight to ten projects simultaneously. Mr. Cox also managed budgets on a large portfolio of multifamily residential buildings with HUD loans.  He performed due diligence on development properties and managed the development entitlement process.

Mr. Cox is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, and served on active duty as a U.S. Navy SEAL.
